IN JANUARY 2018, MOSSY CREEK FOUNDATION RECEIVED A $3,000 NEIGHBORHOOD STORY PROJECT GRANT FROM HUMANITIES TENNESSEE.

Utilizing a Humanities Tennessee Neighborhood Story Project grant awarded to the Mossy Creek Foundation, the Jay Bird Hill Story Project was born. Twelve members of Jefferson City’s Jay Bird Hill community worked to gather and preserve stories. On November 8, 2018, an exhibit of their work was presented to the community. The project was so well-received that Phase II is underway!
