Mossy Creek District
Artists Guild
What are we doing?
We want to create opportunities for artists to grow and thrive within the Mossy Creek District and surrounding areas.
Why are we doing it?
Art is important. Creating art is important. Supporting artists will allow for symbiotic growth for individuals and the community.
Who should get involved?
Hobby Artists - people who love art and make art of some kind. They may consider selling their work, but they are also just creating for the sake of creating. Being part of a guild will encourage growth in their talents and camaraderie with other artists.
Developing Artists - people who are serious about their art and are looking for opportunities to make, display or sell their art or opportunities to instruct art. They want to be part of a guild to increase opportunities to grow their art as a business and because it’s something they are passionate about.
Established Artists - people who have done an extensive number of shows throughout their career and art is a way of life for them. They want to belong to a guild for the community, networking and opportunities it provides to continue to grow. They are looking to share their talents, abilities and wisdom with others and it’s important to them that our community art scene is thriving.
