The Mossy Creek Outdoor Collective is dedicated to showcasing Jefferson City's outdoor heritage through recreation, conservation, and adventure. The MCOC works to enhance trails, waterways, fishing opportunities, wildlife viewing areas, and public access to Mossy Creek, creating memorable outdoor experiences while preserving the natural beauty that makes Jefferson City unique.

WHAT THE MCOC IS DOING

Float the mossy

Developing outdoor recreation opportunities, including the Mossy Creek Water Trail ("Float the Mossy"), which allows visitors to kayak, paddle, and tube through the creek.

Mossy Creek clean-up

Protecting and improving Mossy Creek, including cleanup efforts, waterway stewardship, and habitat preservation projects.

Supporting outdoor tourism by helping position Jefferson City as a destination for paddling, fishing, wildlife viewing, hiking, and nature-based recreation.
